[jpos-users] Facing socket disconnect out issue when there is ISOException

sripad vallabha

While packing ISO request, if field length exceeds the max value then it through ISOException, and then disconnects the socket with the service, then for next 10 seconds no request goes through.

a) why does socket get disconnected after ISO exception ? shouldn’t other request go through ideally?

b) where is the 10/reconnect interval  seconds specified, which is not allowing reconnect for 10 secs

c) there is option available <reconnect-delay> in channel file, if I set this to 1 sec, it overrides default 10 seconds and allows to reconnect in 1 sec , what is default value of <reconnect-delay> ?

In your channel adaptor add <ignore-iso-exceptions>yes</ignore-iso-exceptions>, this will prevent the diconnect..

Reconnect delay reads the property or defaults to 10sec.
